"Mitsumames" and "Anmitsu" are popular sweets in Japan.

"Mitsumame" is a syrup of agar jelly called "Kanten" and boiled red peas. And "Anmitsu" is a stuffed toast of sweet bean paste "Anko" in "Mitsumame".
